Our Story
Co-Founder, Millie Jones is a passionate movement instructor and the visionary behind The Space to Move. With a background in dance and over a decade of experience in the wellness space, Millie brings a refined, intuitive approach to movement—one that celebrates both strength and stillness.
Having completed her Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Certification, Millie is grounded in an evidence-based, whole-body approach to Pilates. Her training reflects a deep understanding of functional movement, biomechanics and the therapeutic potential of Pilates for all bodies.
The Space to Move was born from Millie’s desire to create more than just a studio—it’s a sanctuary. A space designed to invite presence, elevate the experience of movement and offer clients a place to reconnect with themselves in an environment that feels both calm and elevated.
Known for her thoughtful teaching style and welcoming presence, Millie is committed to helping clients move with intention, ease and joy. Whether guiding a Reformer session or leading a slow, grounded Mat class, she creates space for people to feel empowered in their bodies—at every stage of their journey.

Mark Williams is our second Co-Founder, as well as Millie's partner. You might already know Mark as the friendly face behind Coffee on the Corner, the much-loved, award-winning local coffee spot, which was the first business venture the pair started together. Whether it’s brewing the perfect flat white or building creative spaces, Mark has a knack for making things thrive.
Known for his sharp business sense and down-to-earth approach, Mark has always brought a mix of passion and practicality to everything he does. His entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on style have played a big part in the success of both ventures.
Mark continues to shape The Space to Move into something special—a place built on creativity, community and collaboration. You may even seen him partake in a class or two!
